Our Vision& Mission
Established by the desire of a group of area citizens to protect, preserve and enhance a historic landmark in downtown Mansfield, the Save the Gate House at Smythe Park Committee is dedicated to preserving our past to enhance our future.
Created by care for community and enhanced with vision and commitment,
the Save the Gate House at Smythe Park Committee started with an idea
inspired during discussions among a core group of area residents. Following
numerous meetings and research, the idea quickly evolved into an organization
with a vision and a determination to enhance the pride in our community by
preserving and enhancing the neglected historic Gate House at Smythe Park.
